It’s a sad day today at Coultish Towers…

It’s with great saddness that i have to annouce the passing away of Jake the Dog. Aged 15 years (105 in dog years).

It is important that we remember the happy times…I’ll start with taking him for a walk in Bishopthorpe and jake being jake he decided to jump in the river and ruining a fishing match for about 30 anglers…..Still on the funny side after he had been in the river for 30 minutes with me shouting at him to get out he did get out and he had caught a fish………

Why did they both want to sleep on the Blue bed......???
Why did they both want to sleep on the Blue bed......???

OH NO !!!!

How many times have we seen   “cas”  lose in the closing minuets of the game, well this must be a record with 79 minuets & 57 seconds on the clock (3 seconds to end of game)  and the score at 22-22  after being 16-0 down at half time Cas had made a fantastic come back in the second half, and if truth was  known as were on top, but it had been a fantastic  match played in atrocious condition’s   ie  torrential rain with the pitch waterlogged at times & 3″ of standing water on the side line’s, but it wasn’t to be after  missed attempts at a drop goal by both sides, Leeds kicked threw a high gall which Sherwin spilled on catching, and Shenton  kicked clear but he was in an offside position , so a penalty was awarded to Leeds in front of the post’s which Sinfield  kicked with ease and claimed the match 24-22,

More Extension photos….it’s coming on…

UP FOR THE CUP. !!!!!

Yay,  …….   good   “ol”   cas,  what an exicting game,  to & fro all game,  and being level score at full time  34-34. extra time was called for, ……ie, ….   sudden death extra time,  and Brent Sherwin came up with the winner, a beautiful  40 metre  drop goal straight thro the centre of the goal posts. only 55 seconds into extra time.  Looking forward to next round, 1/4 finals against Huddersfield  Giants.

Erm send for an Ambulance…….

Well having worked on the extension with no injuries…..Mr Christopher Coffin arrived today to give a hand (on his birthday as well!)….All was going well until he decided to pick up a piece of wood and promptly fell over cutting his wrist on the trailer….Cheers Christopher and I think this justifies my “No Minkees on the roof Comment!!!!”
