Thank goodness, after all their efforts they won the scarecrow competition this weekend at the village carnival. This years theme was 100 Years of Scouting – you can see from the picture the effort they put in so well done to them!!! Watch out next year though you may have to compete with the Coultish’s.

We won the quiz last night in the Hare & Hounds for the first time.  Thanks go to Russell who made a guest appearance in our team – there does seem to be a pattern emerging when he joins us (see previous blog entry).  We won £10 a packet of pork scratchings 🙂
