Not long now…….He’s starting to think about packing his bags….Started Scratching…..Maybe a couple of more Sneeks onto Mikes Sofa & bed…… 😆 

Today the bed race team were recognised for their efforts in raising funds for the Lord Mayor of Leeds charity, Andrea’s Gift. The team ran the Knaresborough bedrace through the streets of Knaresborough (funnily enough).

Meeting the Mayor was good fun and both he and the Lady Mayor were charming hosts. We met them for an informal lunch in the Ante Chamber in Leeds Civic Hall. Whilst there we were presented with Certificates of merit and gold Mayor badge. These are a bit like blue peter badges from the Mayor and only given out at his discretion, making it quite special to receive one.

Much to the delight of Emily, George, Rebecca and Ben at the end of today school is out for the summer 😀 😀

What’s everyone’s plans for the hols?

Em and George are at our house from 3rd – 10th August and then we go to spain on 20th August (see countdown on left hand side) 🙂 🙂

Once again the mighty cas have pulled one out of the bag by stuffing harliquins 66-12, which is about right for those southen softie’s.

Hhhmmm looks nice can anyone beat it?   😆  😆 

Normally the winners in this race are the ‘old ones’ however, it looks this year like the ‘newly weds’ will be giving the ‘old ones’ a good run for their money. Who is winning, how many have you had and how many have you got booked…..  😛  One thing’s for certain it will not be the older sibling who wins this…..  😥
