I’m going to swim the channel…….

Well, in a moment of madness inspired by Emily that Scott used to work with at the Council I’ve signed up to swim the 22 miles of the channel. The swim starts on the 15th September and can be completed over 12 weeks. To give you an idea of what’s involved I need to be swimming 25 lengths of the Next Generation swimming pool 5 times per week. This is going to be quite a tough challenge for me as I’m not a very strong swimmer – I’ve already been looking at ways to improve my technique which should make the swim a bit easier for me.

The swim is being organised by the charity Aspire (spinal injuries) which I’m going to try to raise a bit of money for so I would be grateful of any donations – it doesn’t matter how big or small. The Ark. ?

Today i was given my strangest assignment ever i was asked to construct a “vegetable box”, the size being 4 cubits long X 1 cubit wide X nearly a cubit high,  Now considering that Naburn is virtually under water, i began to wonder exactly what i was constructing, any suggestions all you coultish’s.  ???
